My engine is stock with third party bolt on's. This power plant
is around 100 more horses than stock with the many additions including but not limited to the Whipple Supercharger.
Doug Thorley Headers help the big block breath. From the Thorleys the air travels through a
3" Exhaust into a FlowMaster Muffler 3" inlet and 2-2½ " outlets.

The power is carried from the big block into a specially built TH400 Tranny. Dave's Racing automatics in Irving Texas
builds these power transformers. The TH400 is a hard hitting no fuss power to the ground tranny.

With the addition of the Whipple SuperCharger, the engine HP was increased by around 100hp. The
Whipple also makes the truck run cleaner and more effecient.

Mikes 454SS Ignition
|
|
A Mallory ignition was added with Bocsh Plugs to get the fire to the fuel. I have tried many types of Spark Plugs
with Bocsh being the best performer over all.
I used Splitfire
plugs at one time as well. I went through two sets without the performance I was looking for. I wouldnt recommend
the Split fire plugs to anyone. If your looking for power, performance and reliability, Bosch is the way to go.
The Bosch plugs are a winner.

Mikes 454SS Air Flow
|
|
Everyone knows for effecient airflow a K&N airfilter is (In my book) the best choice. The K&N airfilter was added
during the installation of the Whipple SuperCharger. The K&N Airfilter is cleaned regularly
with the K&N airfilter cleaning products.
