How do I connect a database to my website?
Sending an email request to Support and requesting the connection will start the process. Support will create a directory in your home page root directory that you can FTP to and upload your database. Once this is complete, using your ASP scripts for script reading and writing to the database would then be your next step.

Using Digital Oxygen secure method of protecting your Database from people downloading all of your site information, an FTP program is needed. Your protected Data Base is stored at another location on the server and "linked" to your site. Your database is stored by our support group in a directory called "Database" off of the root of your home directory on your website. Using an FTP Program is the only method of getting to this "secure" directory.

Your Database Directory called "Database" can be accessed by connecting to your website with an FTP Program and doing a "Change Directory" to the directory called "Database". From this directory you can upload or download your website database
